Support These Local Restaurants with Kick-Ass Takeout Options

Mar 22, 2021/inStories

COVID-19 has had a major impact on the way local Regina entrepreneurs run their businesses. While the fallout from the pandemic has been felt city-wide, businesses in the food and hospitality industry have been hit especially hard. Many bars and restaurants have successfully pivoted to focus on online, takeout, and delivery service, but this new way of operating only works if we all actively support local restaurants whenever possible!

So tonight, instead of reaching for leftovers or a frozen dinner, take a look at some of the incredible offerings being served up by audacious, locally-owned and operated restaurants right here in our community. We can promise you you’ll be glad you did once things return to normal. Whether you’re feeling like Indian food, a good pub burger, or something a little fancier, there is a Regina restaurant out there that can satisfy your craving, and they really need your help right now.

Avenue

Lead by Top Chef Canada Winner Dale Mackey, Avenue serves up a modern, upscale take on homegrown comfort food. The culinary team prides itself in imbuing some of the dishes you know and love with French influence and global flavours, making for creative and exciting food paired with friendly service. Give them a call to place an order tonight! (We highly recommend the perogies)

In the spirit of reconciliation

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is Treaty 4 territory and the traditional territory of the Anihšinābēk, Nêhiyawak, Dakota, Lakota, and Nakota peoples, and the original home of the Métis/Michif Nation. We recognize that both Indigenous and Métis people are the spiritual and cultural keepers of their traditional lands and still to this day, continue to practice their values, languages, beliefs and knowledge.
